Getting started with the Timefold Platform
To get started with the Timefold Platform, follow these steps:
Learn about Timefold’s models
Look at the available planning models at https://app.timefold.ai/ to see what types of planning problems they solve.
Contact us or start a trial
You can self-register on the Timefold Platform and start a trial of a Timefold model.
See Trialing Timefold models for more details.
Explore demo data
Using the platform’s UI you can complete test runs with demo data. This gives you insight into what tools the platform offers to visualize the solving process as well as the planning solutions. You can download the demo data sets from one of those runs, and then further tweak the .json file for your needs. In the platform’s New Run dialog you can upload that .json file to solve your problem.
See Interpreting model run results to learn about interpreting the results.
Invite your team members
You can easily invite your coworkers to your tenant, so they can also explore the platform and review your planning solutions.
Unless your team needs administration access, add them as users. |
Learn about integrating the model APIs
To integrate the planning solutions into your systems, you need API access. Click on the drop-down next to your username, select API keys, and copy the default API key or generate a new one. With this API key, you can access the API for the models on your tenant. We recommended you follow the getting started guides specific for the model you’re using to learn about the main API endpoints of the model.
On the platform itself you can also dive into the full API specifications and test the methods via an interactive interface.
As a last step, you can set up one or more webhooks to receive real-time notifications when your planning problems are solved.
See API usage to learn more about how to use the api.
Follow up on new features
The platform includes a changelog where you can learn about new versions of the platform and its models.
See Timefold Platform Changelog for recent updates to the platform.
