Reviewing the audit log
Timefold Platform provides an audit log that stores information about configuration events on the platform, making it possible to review events and see what changed, when, and who made the changes.
To access the audit log, log in to Timefold Platform, click Tenant Settings and select Audit log.
If you have multiple tenants, you will need to view the Audit log for each tenant individually.
Events for the following categories are included in the audit log:
-
Tenant creation and management.
-
API Keys.
-
Personal access tokens.
-
Configuration profiles.
-
Location sets.
-
Map providers.
-
OSRM integration.
-
Member management.
-
Model management.
Audit logs include the following properties:
-
Action: The action that was taken.
-
Actor email: The email address that was used to log in to perform the action.
-
IP: The IP address the user logged in from.
-
Timestamp The date and time the action took place.
You can click on any record to expand it for more details.
Different events will include information specific to the event type.
Filtering events
You can filter events based on the property types and values that correspond to those properties.
You add multiple filters to narrow down the results, for instance, events that were initiated by a specific actor from a specific IP address.
Default solving behavior
When solving datasets on the platform, the default configuration profile determines which parameters are applied when you datasets.
If you’ve noticed changes to the expected behavior when solving datasets, the audit log can reveal if the default configuration profile has been changed, when it changed, and who made the change.
To see if the default configuration profile has been updated, navigate to the audit log and filter for entries with the Action UPDATE_CONFIGURATION and expand the list of events for the details.
