Work limits can be managed in different ways depending upon the requirements which include managing contractual hours by minute, day, or shift across fixed periods or rolling windows.

The following guides provide examples and explain how to manage work limits for employees' hours:

  • Minutes worked per period

  • Minutes worked in a rolling window

  • Minutes logged per period

  • Days worked per period

  • Days worked in a rolling window

  • Consecutive days worked rules

  • Shifts worked per period

  • Shifts worked in a rolling window
